Attachments
Managing images, videos, and other media files
Octarine supports a wide range of image and video extensions to be added to a note.
All media attachments are stored in
.attachmentsfolder in the workspace folder. You might need to allow hidden folders to be visible in your finder to find the folder.
Allowed Extensions
- Image —
png, jpg, jpeg, gif, svg, webp - Video —
mp4, webm, mov
Using Attachments
- You can insert a NEW attachment to a note via:
/ -> Insert Media— This opens the finder dialog allowing you to select an image to be attached.- Drag and drop an image/video from finder over to the note.
- You can insert an attachment that already exists in the workspace via:
[[command shows you a list of attachments- Dragging an attachment from the attachments popover.
Attachments can be resized by using the resize handle. Any width changes are stored in the wikilink format after the pipe character —
[[Image.png|450]]where 450 is the width of the attachment in px.
